Feed Safety Policy Statement.
Applied Nutrition Pty Ltd as a feed ingredient trader & mixer/producer maintains Integrated Quality and Feed Safety Management Systems (IQFSMS) which ensures continuous improvement in the quality and feed safety of products it offers to the market it serves.
The IQFSMS encompasses all operational activities of the company from order receipt to product dispatch, all the procedures and processes required to meet its customers’ specified requirements and those required to exceed its customers’ expectations.
The policy embraces the following key principles:
Eliminating/minimising all possible contamination, physical, chemical, and microbiological at the earliest possible stage.
Continuously improve production efficiency through setting and reviewing objectives.
Compliance with the requirements of the Australian Code of Practice for Animal Feed Ingredient & Additive Suppliers.
Systems and controls shall be prevention based to foster more effective decision making.
Funders and Suppliers are integral to the quality process and company staff shall work closely with them to meet customer needs.
Company Management is fully committed to their policy and Feed Safety Culture through active participation in improvement activities and leadership.
Committed to communicate this policy to the relevant stakeholders.
Ensure competencies related to Feed Safety Management System
Applied Nutrition’s Executive Management will be responsible and accountable for ensuring this feed safety policy is implemented and their respective teams are fully aware of these responsibilities.
